What's the difference between NEST 360, VAC, the 4-Week Intensive, and PDLP — which one is right for me?
Think of it as a natural progression, not four separate choices:
- VAC (Foundation)— Start here if you're new to data and want a low-pressure first exposure. Open to all departments, all years, no prerequisites.
- 4-Week Intensive — For students ready to go deeper, apply ML/GenAI to real problems, and walk away with a deployed, portfolio-grade project.
- PDLP — For students ready to take on a real-world problem (from any domain — education, agriculture, public services, and more) and build a deployed digital solution for real users, with full mentorship.
- NEST 360 — Your personal career guidance layer — roadmap, skill-building, resume, LinkedIn, and job/interview support — that can run alongside any of the above.

I have zero coding/technical background — can I still join?
Yes — start with VAC. It's designed specifically for students with no prior coding experience, taking you from environment setup to your first working data project. Once you've built that foundation, you'll be ready for the 4-Week Intensive, which does require basic programming knowledge.
Will this actually help me get a job / into a GCC / into a foreign university?
That's the entire point of NEST. Our programs are built around real outcomes, not certificates:
- A deployed, portfolio-grade project on GitHub — something you can actually show, not just talk about
- GCC-style interview readiness, built by practicing on your own real project
- Entry into our Mentorship-Led Placement (MLP) track
- For students aiming abroad, personalized guidance through NEST 360 on university shortlisting, SOPs, and application strategy

How much time do I need to commit, and can I do this alongside college/work?
It depends on the program:
- VAC — A single foundation course, flexible enough to fit alongside your regular coursework.
- 4-Week Intensive— 120 hours over 4 weeks, roughly 70% hands-on. It's intensive by design, so we recommend treating it as a focused commitment during that period.
- PDLP— Includes field visits and end-to-end project ownership, so it asks for more sustained time and involvement, but it's structured to work around your academic calendar.
We're upfront about this because we'd rather you commit fully and get the full value, than start and stretch yourself too thin.
What makes this different from what I'm already learning in college or other online courses?
Three things, mainly:
- Real problems, not textbook exercises — from GCC-style business problems to real-world issues like agriculture or public services.
- Real users, real deployment— your project doesn't end as a file in a folder; it ends up live, tested, and (in PDLP) actually used by real people.
